2.1 Information You Provide
When you register for an account, we collect:
- Account information: Email address and password
- Company information: Company name (optional)
- Billing information: Processed by our payment provider (Paddle or Lemon Squeezy). We do not store credit card details.
2.2 Device Signals
When your website visitors load the DevRoute SDK, we collect device signals necessary for identification and eSIM compatibility detection:
- User agent string
- Screen resolution and device pixel ratio
- Language and timezone settings
- GPU renderer and hardware capabilities
- Canvas and audio fingerprint hashes
- IP address (for network intelligence and geolocation)
- Network type (WiFi, 4G, 5G) and ISP information
We do not collect personally identifiable information from end users. Device signals are hashed into anonymized fingerprints that cannot be traced back to an individual.
2.3 Automatically Collected
We automatically collect certain information when you visit our website, including browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages viewed.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Provide the Service: Device detection, eSIM compatibility checking, fraud prevention, and smart routing
- Account Management: Creating and managing your account, API keys, and dashboard access

- Service Providers: Cloudflare (edge computing), Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (email delivery), and our payment processors. These providers are contractually bound to use data only as necessary to provide their services.

- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users

We retain device event data according to your plan tier's data retention policy. Account information is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at help@devroute.app.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest
- API key authentication for all API endpoints
- JWT-based authentication for dashboard access

Our Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
